My first step in planning some intentional activities for my toddler was to choose a theme for each week. This has helped drive my planning and search for activities. Rather than scouring Pinterest (or worse - the WHOLE internet) for things we wanted to try, I narrowed down my search by relating all activities for a given week to a theme that I think T will enjoy. For each theme, I am in the process of choosing books to read, songs to sing, sensory activities to try, outings to embark on, and toys to play with - all which lend themselves to our exploration of the weeks theme.
Below are the themes I have chosen for the months of April through September. Though I'm sure flexibility will be necessary, this is my starting point!
