Today was a hodgepodge of farm activities that didn't really fit with a particular theme. We sang farm songs, played with farm toys and games, and read some more farm books. Read on below for details!
We took a super fun family trip to the farm to see everything we've been reading signing and talking about in person. While there, T learned a new word: "donkey!" Though he seems to think ALL farm animals are called "donkey." We had a blast visiting all of the different animals and eating some dairy fresh ice cream. Even our border collie (who's a farm dog at heart) really enjoyed herself. Read below for some pictures from our trip.
Obviously there are many many crops that grow on farms, but I decided to focus our attention for this day to vegetables. Read on below to see how we explored vegetables.
"Farm messes" probably seems like an odd topic for a day of activities. But since messes are my toddler's favorite thing and farms are full them, I figured it was a good way to start the week!
